We all know that YouTube is full of spam comments. You may have even received a few yourself being a YouTube Influencer. But did you know that you can actually delete these comments?

In this blog post, we’ll show you how to get rid of spam YouTube comments for good. We’ll also share some tips on how to avoid getting spam comments in the first place.

So if you’re ready to clean up your YouTube comment section, read on!

Flag them right away

Comments are a great way to engage with your viewers and build a community around your channel. But sometimes, spam comments can slip through the cracks.

There are a few ways to deal with spam comments on YouTube. The first is to flag them as spam. To do this, simply click the flag icon under the comment.

YouTube will then review the comment and, if it determines that it is indeed spam, will remove it from your video.

Moderate’Em

If you want to take a more proactive approach, you can also turn on comment moderation. To do this, go to your YouTube settings and select “Moderate new comments.” Now, any new comments will need to be approved by you before they appear on your videos.

Use comment filters

Finally, you can also block certain words from appearing in comments on your videos. To do this, go to your YouTube settings and select “Comment filters.” Here, you can enter words or phrases that you want to block. Any comments that contain these words or phrases will automatically be filtered out.

Here are some tips to help you prevent spam YouTube comments:

-Regularly check and delete any spam comments that slip through the cracks.
-Make sure your YouTube channel is set to “Public”. This will make it harder for spammers to target you.
- Use YouTube’s comment moderation tools. You can find these tools by going to your “Advanced Settings” under the “Comments” section of your YouTube account.
-Consider using a CAPTCHA on your comments section. This will help to reduce the amount of spam comments you receive.

Impact of spam on your YouTube channel

While a little bit of spam here and there might not seem like a big deal, the truth is that it can have a significant impact on your YouTube channel. Not only can it make your videos look less professional, but it can also lead to people unsubscribing from your channel. Worse yet, if YouTube detects that you have a lot of spammy comments on your videos, they may penalize your channel, which can result in fewer views and less revenue.

For these reasons, it’s important to delete spam YouTube comments as soon as you see them. But how do you do this?

The good news is that YouTube makes it fairly easy to delete comments. Simply go to the “Comments” section of your YouTube channel and hover over the comment you want to delete. You should see a trashcan icon appear on the right side of the comment. Click on this icon and the comment will be deleted.

If you have a lot of spammy comments, you may also want to consider using a tool like Bulk Delete for YouTube. This tool allows you to delete up to 1,000 comments at a time, which can save you a lot of time if you have a large number of spammy comments to deal with.

How to report spam YouTube comments

If you see a spam comment on YouTube, flag it by clicking the banner icon in the top right corner of the comment. You can also report comments that aren’t spam but are abusive or otherwiseagainst our Community Guidelines. After you flag a comment, it’ll be reviewed by YouTube’s team of specialists.

How to spot spammy YouTube comments

There are lots of ways that people can spam YouTube comments. Some common examples include:
- Posting links to unrelated websites
- Repeating the same comment over and over again
- Making offensive or inappropriate comments

If you’re seeing spam comments on your videos, you can report them to YouTube. You can also block specific users from commenting on your videos.

Here’s how to block a user from commenting on your videos:

1. open YouTube and sign in
2. click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen
3. select “ Creator Studio”
4. click “ Community” in the left menu
5. under “Comments,” select “ Blocked Users”
6. in the top right, click “ Block User”
7. enter the name or email address of the user you want to block and click “ Block”

Why flagging a spammy comment is better than deleting it ?

If you see a spam comment on YouTube, don’t just delete it — flag it as spam! Flagging a comment alerts YouTube’s security team, and repeated offenses can lead to the commenter being banned from YouTube altogether. Here’s how to do it:

First, find the comment you want to flag. Underneath the comment, you’ll see a flag icon. Click it.

A menu will pop up with three options:
-Mark as spam
-Mark as inappropriate
-Clear flags
Choose “Mark as spam.” A confirmation message will appear, letting you know that you’ve successfully reported the comment.

How else you can deal with them

Spam comments on YouTube can be an annoyance and can also clutter up your comments section. You may want to remove them for cosmetic reasons or because they’re violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.

There are two ways to remove spam comments on YouTube. The first is to use YouTube’s built-in reporting system. The second is to moderate your comments section so that only approved commenters can post.

Here’s how to remove spam comments on YouTube using the built-in reporting system:

1. Sign in to YouTube and open the Comments tab.
2. Hover over the comment you want to remove and click the flag icon that appears.
3. Select the type of abuse that applies from the menu that appears.
4. Click Submit.

YouTube will review the comment and take appropriate action if it determines that it violates our Community Guidelines. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for YouTube to review the report and take action on the comment.

Here’s how to remove spam comments on YouTube by moderating your comments section:

1. Sign in to YouTube and open the Comments tab.
2. Click More next to the comment you want to remove and select Hide Comment from the menu that appears 3. Repeat this process for each spam comment you want to remove.
4 .If you want to prevent a particular user from commenting on your videos, you can block them by clicking More next to one of their comments and selecting Block User from the menu that appears.

All of these methods will help to stop spam YouTube comments from appearing on your videos. However, if you want to delete existing spam comments, then you will need to do so manually.
