You have probably heard about snapchat. It’s the well-known mobile app that enables you to send your videos and pictures, both of which will self-destruct following a couple of moments of a person viewing them. Snapchat is also a fun messaging app that entertains you. You can easily capture a photo or make a video with it, then add a caption or filter over top, and send the finished snap to a friend. You can add your snap to your story, a 24 hour all of your snap that can be seen your friends or followers.

Snapchat is the successful app of the social media. There is no doubt of its success. It has more than 100 million daily users globally. Although it started with just photos, it now records 8.5 billion videos views per day. Snapchat has filters or lenses which you can add to your photos. Snapchat is known for its disappearing images and its amazing filters and lenses and if you haven’t been using them, you have been missing out.

SnapChat Filters and Lenses.

What snapchat makes so addicted and attractive are its fascinating filters and lenses. Snapchat filters are increased reality filters. You will find these on the selfie camera within the snap chat application. Snapchat can transform your face into that a horrifying monster or make it look like you are vomiting rainbows or face look like a dog or give yourself a strange hair style. These lenses are not even visible until you press and on a person’s face when capturing a photo or video. While applying a lens, snapchat may also ask you to make a silly facial motion, such as opening your mouth or raising your eyebrows, so that lens fits properly. A snapchat filter meanwhile can be utilized to change the color of your image like on Instagram, while some additional information, for example, shows your location as your location, the time or even the weather in your current location.

How to use These Filters?

First, you have to install the Snapchat, it’s totally free. Then you have to sign up for a snapchat or connect it with your Gmail account. You must have to mention your cell number where you get the verification code. After the verification code you will put this code in the blank space, and press enter. Now the magic begins. At first, it’s hard to start this app while every application is hard to know in the start. Using these steps help you to use snap chat filters and lenses.

  • To use a Snapchat filter, you’ll have to take a photo with your phone’s camera and swipe left or right once you’ve taken the image and you will see a message which says ‘turn on filters’. As you swipe right, you’ll also see any filters that are available — these overlays cover famous locations and cities, and most big urban areas now have a filter of their own. As users can submit their own, a lot of smaller places will have one as well.

• Here is a little trick to try, with one filter, applied, tap and hold on the screen, then swipe right again and you can apply a second snap chat filter. It’s not possible to combine all of the filters in this way but you can, for example, put the time on screen and make your picture black and white at the same time. In fact, you can tap and hold and swipe again to apply the third filter, depending on the type and position, in the case of videos you can add many things, should you need covering, color adjustments and a funky speed effect at the same time.

• Click the ‘I want filters’ button at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to the additional services part of the setting menu where you can tick the filters box. Note that you will need to enable the location to be able to switch them on and for some to work properly.

• There now voice filters are also available for video snaps. There is speaker icon that appears at the bottom left of the screen once you have taken a video, then tap this to select a voice filters.

  • One of the most popular filters on Snapchat is face Swap, there is new face swap feature in Snapchat that introduce the ability to face swap with a photo from your phone’s photo library.

• For this all filters you have to in the front of selfie camera for 1–2 seconds and you will see a 3D map of your face appear in white. This is tracking where your face is in the image and for there you will see the lenses appear along the bottom of the screen. It will start you off without a filter, so you need to scroll right to preview the first filter in the list. Snapchat usually has 15 to 20 different lenses available at any time and the selection regularly changes. These lenses appear on snap chat every few day. It is always interesting having a quick check to see what the latest snapchat filters are and what each offers you.

• Must remember some lenses will drop off, so if you want to use them so I will recommend doing it quickly before they disappear.

• Snapchat lenses are one of the most famous and well-known features , after the ability to send videos and photos that expire after 10 seconds in chat box, obviously. It appears that Snapchat has also noticed this, with the photo-sharing giants/monster offering the ability for its customers to purchase (with genuine money) lenses to be used at any time. The firm has since thrown away the idea of selling Lenses, and to stop the component getting to be stagnated, has introduced a new system. Rather than offering the same range of lenses on a day-to-day basis, the selection is updated regularly, removing the oldest Snapchat lens and replacing it with a brand new one. Don’t worry and not to stress, though if you did buy any lenses, these will still be permanently available to you .
